Kelly Cellars

Kelly Cellars is synonymous around Belfast for the fact that some people believe it is the true oldest pub in Belfast as these people would say a tavern is not a pub. Kelly Cellars was built on March 14, 1720, situated at 30 Bank Street in the city centre. Kelly Cellars provides pub food and traditional music sessions. It remains resolutely old-fashioned as it has a vaulted ceiling with an elbow-worn bar which as u can picture is always crammed.

In terms of my experiences within Kelly Cellars I could write about it for days. One of my favourite experiences at Kelly Cellars was going their to watch the rugby in the six nations where Ireland where playing England, it helped the experience that Ireland won the game, but the main reason  why i loved this experience was down to friendly the staff and customers where which helped in creating the perfect atmosphere.

The drinks in Kelly Cellars I also found where some of the best quality I have had. When going to Kelly Cellars i have always opted for a pint of Guinness as in my opinion it is easily one of the best pints of Guinness in Belfast. When drinking in Kelly Cellars you will be  met with an array of cultures, such as due to its history and famous name you will always find tourists like Americans who when travelling through Northern Ireland love to stop here at Kelly's to try a proper Irish Guinness. this completely adds to the experience when drinking in Kelly's.

In conclusion for Kelly Cellars the best way to some it up is if I could only give a tourist one pub to go and visit it would be in Kelly Cellars. This is down to the people, prices and pints.
