Situated along the renowned Malone Road, Post House immerses itself in the storied history of Belfast's beloved thoroughfare. With roots tracing back to the 19th century, Malone Road has been a witness to the city's transformation, showcasing its graceful Victorian architecture and evolving into a vibrant centre for culture and commerce. This establishment was formerly a Post House, founded in 1898 and crafted by the local architectural firm E. & J. Byrne. Picture it as a dual-purpose hub, serving as both the Post Office and the primary local taxi service during its era. In 2023, it has now been reopened, ushering in the next chapter of Post House history. My experience here was one I was very fond off, from cheap and delicious pints to also and array of big screens suitably placed to make sure at any seat you can see a piece of the action.
